Ceremonies
Our beautiful long room can seat 62 for a civil ceremony, the drawing room can seat 37 and the elegant hall 27. If it is an outdoor ceremony you would like then there are plenty of options; our beautiful river meadow on the banks of the river Avon; the main lawn with the house as the backdrop; the tiered lawn using the terrace as the ceremony stage; or the intimate secret garden. The possibilities are endless! We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies here in the long room, drawing room and hall. For an outdoor ceremony you can hold a civil ceremony in front of the big red doors as the porch is also licensed. Humanist ceremonies are also welcome in the house and grounds.
Large Weddings
Twyning Park is very well suited to large parties as the space is so flexible.
The marquee or tipi or yurt – whatever takes your fancy – can be sited in the beautiful river meadow on the banks of the river Avon or on the main lawn in front of the big red doors of the house.
Both sites provide numerous opportunities and plenty of outdoor space to create a really unique and special reception.
Intimate Weddings
Twyning Park is a house that is full of character and beautiful features. The drawing room has a calming feel, beautiful cornicing and detailed plasterwork along with a stunning Adams fireplace. This room is perfect for small intimate receptions or for use as a ceremony room.
In contrast the long room is far simpler in decoration with white walls, sash windows, huge oak beams and doors that open onto the courtyard and terrace. A real blank canvas, this room works well as a ceremony room or reception room and can seat up to 45 people for dinner or 62 for a ceremony.
