Kathy was the first bride through the doors at our first ever open weekend back in 2017. As we walked around Twyning Park and chatted about Kathy's vision for their perfect wedding it quickly became obvious that this wedding was going to be seriously special.
Kathy and Tim wanted their wedding to completely reflect them as a couple and required a venue where they had free rein to get creative with their wedding plans. It was clear that Twyning Park could provide a perfect backdrop to their lovely story.
Kathys effortless style and eye for detail and Tims creative DIY skills allowed them to create really beautiful personal details such as the rustic doors for their riverside drinks reception, the beautiful table centrepieces that were filled with flowers and the signage complete with vintage bicycle.
The couple were married at Bredon church which can be seen from the gardens at Twyning Park and arrived to their riverside drinks reception in dramatic style by fire and rescue boat which was a reflection of Tims many years of service with Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service.
After the relaxed drinks reception on the river meadow, complete with homemade "pimp your prosecco" bar the guests continued the celebrations with a sumptuous wedding breakfast in a beautiful marquee on the main lawn, provided by West Country Marquees.
The day was overflowing with laughter, fun and love and was an absolute privilege to be a part of. Congratulations Kathy and Tim - you created a beautiful, stylish exciting wedding that I am sure none of your guests will ever forget!!
